أثناء مشاهدة فيديو لصانع المحتوى Sega Lord X. شعرت بالحنين لامتلاك جهاز ألعاب (كونسول)، وفكرت ماذا لو اشتريت Sega Dream Cast. حيث أن الجهاز أطلق في عام 1998، ومن المفترض أن ألعابه سهلة التوفير، حيث يكفي تحميل لعبة، وحرقها على قرص لتعمل.

أحن لتلك الأيام عندما كانت ألعاب الحاسوب في متناول الجميع. عندما لم تكن بحاجة لأخذ قرض أو رهن سيارتك لتتمكن من تشغيل لعبة على جهازك، وقبل أن ترتفع أسعار الرامات، ووسائط التخزين لمستويات فلكية، بسبب فقاعة الذكاء الاصطناعي.
I think that I am going through a mental block. It’s a stage where you struggle to do basic things. Things you enjoyed and gave your life meaning. Ever since I was a little child. I was interested in playing video games. I first started on the Atari 2600 with my elder siblings. Then on a clone Famicom. But my magnum opus was a Sega Mega Drive 2 (Sega Genesis in the US). In which I enjoyed countless hours of gaming and fun. However, to some, my tastes are dubbed as a “Casual gamer”.
