Yesterday Battle for Wesnoth has released it’s quarterly update. Being one of the most regular open source games out there when it comes to updates. But this update brings a sad closure to a well loved series.

Today’s feature on game of the week is a 56 – in – 1 bundle! A few games targeted to be brain teasers and be great fun and to pass time.

What made me want to pick up this lost bundle and upload it on my blog is that some of the games are actually pretty good and playable.
I consider some to be a great tool for building vocabulary and if I was actively teaching I’d incorporate some of them in my classroom (luckily I am not).
In all cases. You can download this bundle from here.
As always I am not the creator of this game or related to them in anyway. I’m just preserving a freeware project from being lost.
Did you download this bundle? Any game you fancy? Let me know what you think in the comments section below.
Another game that went down with stammel’s website is War for Diamonds. Which is a jewel puzzle with strategic elements.
Game premise
The game is fairly simple. Using the empty hexa shape in the middle drag shapes to clear batches of four gems of the same color before the timer (red bar) reaches 0.
Left click moves around, right click clears.

I just wanted to re-upload the game since it vanished from the world wide web. Since most websites just link to stammel’s site and that site is gone. Or comes as part of CD and DVD compilations that no longer exist online.
It’s very frustrating that someone would opt to destroy his legacy like this. The game is fun and is a shame that it was this close to being gone from the web for good.
You can download the game from here. It’s a 300KB that could pass a few minutes.

لا يزال الحاسب الشخصي منصتي المفضلة للعب ألعاب الفيديو. ومن حين لأخر احب لعب الألعاب القديمة التي لعبتها في صغري.. وهكذا عثرت على Rocks and Diamonds..
