My second wind blogging!

I thought around the sixth year of blogging that I ran out of ideas, I’ve blogged about things I never though I’d talk about in public, and that was it.

 The end of the road

I was seriously complimenting about quitting blogging and just leave the blog to collect views slowly, which is something I discussed in the sixth anniversary blog post.

Walking away from blogging isn’t something I would like to do, it’s a big part of who I am and how I view myself, therefore I needed to dig deeper to find more topics that relates to everyday life.

My blog is growing with me

My blog is a journal of my life (at least the things I chose to share), it helps me celebrate important things and look back on my life.

Also it’s a chronicle of my learning journey, and it helps archive providing me with a centralized easy to access knowledge base of all the things I experienced with.

I’m glad that I was able to find my second wind blogging, I have more ideas to blog about that would keep me going for a while.

What’s the use?

There are some days where I feel that I’m not making a difference, that what I write isn’t read or even care about what I do, that my existence is equal to non-existing, but that’s far from true! I am helping and making a difference, and helping make people’s lives better, even by a little tip or trick!

I’m not there yet!

I haven’t achieved my goals from blogging, I still haven’t made a profit out of this blog! And I would like to reach 1 million views before thinking of calling it quits! (Currently around 370,000 views).
It’s always nice to look back and see how far I’ve traveled, see what milestones I made and how my blog is touching people and helping them.

An update for my dear readers

I have realized that I haven’t posted a single post in August! That’s a lot, I mean the month is half way done, what gives?
It’s a bit of a reoccurring cycle on my end, I sometimes forget to blog or simply don’t have the will to write a new update, despite having a ton of drafts just begging to be published, this time tho, I have a good excuse.

What’s happening?

I’ve been having troubles with my laptop over the past few days, I replaced some things and toyed with others, and needless to say that the result is down right great! The poor thing is showing it’s age, and I can’t blame it at all, and no! I don’t blog from the phone, not anymore.

A little bit of the same old, the power and Internet are playing tag, one goes and the other comes, it’s rare to find them together at the same time, and ever more rare for me to feel like doing anything! And yes, the electrical situation is ruining my laptop.

I will be posting in detail about what’s going on, what have I done and where is it taking me, so stick around.

A healthy kind of giving up

I haven’t posted to my blog in a few weeks (and a bit more than that in English), the reason is simply because I have been too busy.
These last few weeks before Ramadan were intense, a lot of work to be done in a small time frame, however I haven’t finished my rather long task list.

Job hunt

I’ve taken some time off work to focus on more important things in life, this job isn’t for me, perhaps if they pay me 3 times as much I’d reconsider it. So for the time being I’m accepting job offers.

Libya

I’ve blogged for years about issues in Libya and ways to solve them, that took time and effort and taxed a toll on my mental state in general, that’s why I’m not doing it anymore.

I’ve realized that people made peace with the current situation and decided to go with the flow it’s much easier than admitting that they did wrong and attempting to rectify the wrong doing. To each his own.



Corruption

Libya is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, this can be the explanation for many illogical things that happen on daily basis, it’s a vile fiend that suffocates Libya helplessly. Will there be a solution ever?

To new ways

I’ve got a new phone and I am trying to use it as my main device (blogging included), the experience is better than I expected, but not as good as I need it to be.
More details in a future blog post.

Blog comments

Until a couple of days the comments section was open for anyone to leave a piece of their minds there, but after the surge in spam comments (I find 5-6 new ones every day), I decided to only let people with registered G-mail accounts to leave a comment on my blog, I will keep it that way until the spammers give up.

Giving up isn’t defeat, it’s victory

Reading history books taught me so much about Libya and the Libyan character, they have been like this since the beginning of time, always will be like this and they will never change.  And I don’t have another lifetime to spend like this. Time for a new challenge.

Ramadan Mubarak

It’s the second day of Ramadan and my head is killing me already, noise amplified a thousand times inside my skull. Maybe I should include that sensation to the Wednesday post? (Not really).

قالب جديد للمدونة

مرحبا عزيزي القارئ وأهلا بك في تدوينة جديدة.

لقد قمت أخيرًا بتحديث قالب مدونتي للشكل الحديث، ربما تتساءل عن السبب الذي دفعني للإبقاء على الشكل القديم لفترة طويلة؟


في البداية: القالب القديم يعجبني للغاية (ولا يزال يعجبني في الواقع)، لكنه قديم الطراز للغاية.. وأنا متأكد أنك تعرف المثل القديم: كول ما يعجبك وألبس ما يعجب الناس. لذلك إن أردت تعزيز المشاهدات يجب أن يكون قالب مدونتي ذا شكل مقبول وعصري.

الشكل القديم للمدونة، أرقد بسلام يا حنفي

ثانيًا: لدي العديد من التخصيصات التي أضعها على القوالب الخاصة بي، والتي إن لم تتوفر في قالب فسأهجره مهما كان رائعًا، وهي على سبيل المثال لا الحصر:

 أهم التخصيصات التي تجعل القالب مقبولا لدي

1. طريقة لعرض التدوينات المشابهة أسفل التدوينة الحالية، الطريقة الحالية ليست مثالية، لكنها أفضل من لا شيء، أفضل الطرق التي تكون من داخل المدونة ولا تعتمد على روابط خارجية تسرق تصنيف الموقع.

2. صفحة اتصل بي مهمة جدًا لدي، ويجب أن تتواجد في كل قالب.

3. عرض الاعلانات بطريقة جيدة وواضحة.

4. بقاء الشريط الجانبي واضحًا طول وقت عرض المدونة لأن كل الادوات عليه.

5. الشريط العلوي الذي يعرض أهم الصفحات والروابط.

6. أفضل قوالب غوغل، لأن القوالب المجانية المصممة من طرف ثالث تكون ثقيلة ومحملة بالاعلانات.

باختصار أفضل الشكل الذي يجعل المدونة أقرب للموقع منه للمدونة الشخصية.

بعض التغييرات الجديدة

لن أستعرض عدد مشاهداتي للعلن بعد اﻵن، لكنني لن أكسر عادتي القديمة في الاحتفال بالمشاهدات المهمة.

المشاركات الشائعة قد لا تعود للظهور كما كانت، ليست مدونة الجوازات والمولدات!!

اللون اﻷزرق واﻷسود يسود الموضوع، ألا يذكرك بشيء؟

عملية التعديل ليست بصعوبة تصميم موقع ويب من الصفر، لكنها ليست بسهولة فتح صفحة فيسبوك مثلا..

في الختام

إن كانت أي من التغييرات تروق لك وتود إضافتها لمدونتك، فأذكر ذلك لي في تعليق وسأرسل لك كيفية تعديل قالبك بالشكل الملائم.
